how to sell my service on ebay?
i have an industrial machine that removes scratches from cds, dvds, and software cds. its not one of those small machines you get at gamestop. i want to sell my service on ebay to get more customers. my only question is how do i go around doing this? whats the best way to present my service? i fix each cd for $5 and i want to do small sellings like ill do 5 for $25 and either let it bid or make it a buy now thing. thats the idea i have. what do you all think?

- I hate to burst your bubble, but that's not going to be successful. It would be easier and cheaper just to burn another CD.
- eBay has a category called SPECIALTY SERVICES http://services.ebay.com/_W0QQ_trksidZp3907Q2em21 where service providers from media editing/duplication to jewelry repair/restoration to web design services are sold Look at this category and find vendors of similar services, especially those auctions that ended in the last 3 months. Check how they describe their service, look at the demand for this service and whether these types of auctions actually closes with a bid
- I can't really see this as being anything more than a local market in your city. The time and cost for the person to send you the CD and then for you to send it back makes it much easier to just go out and buy another new copy. And if a person has a CD with personal and private info on it are they going to send it to some person in a far away city that that they don't know... and trust that person with their sensitive info? As I said, this seems to be more of a local "on-site" service, not a mail-in business. The bottom line is if my music CD or video DVD that cost me under $20 to buy it new is not worth the time and hassle of mailing it to you so you can attempt to fix it. If you are around the corner from my house and it is easy to drop it off then I will certainly give you the business.
