Help with wireless connection speed?
On a wireless connection status they have the Packets sent and packets recieved. From looking at screenshots of a professional auction sniper on neopets I found that with their dial-up connection they had 3 times as many packets recieved than sent. With my connection I only have about 600 more packets recieved than sent. How can I increase the number of packets recieved to make my internet faster? Jessica, That link has nothing to do with my question.

- If you're downloading stuff, then your packets received will be a lot bigger than packets sent. Packets received/sent will accumulate over time, the longer you stay connected. If you want to make your Internet faster, contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and tell them you want to upgrade to a faster Internet connection.
- Lets clear up your confusion, The packets are at the router/Broadband modem and at the Computers Ethernet adapter. The WiFi link in between is transparent to the data(packets) its a RF carrier wave signal encoded with the data that travels at near light speed back and forth, So any problems relating to TCP/IP Packets is at the router. Try a line speed test to see the details and characteristics of your Ethernet & Internet connections.http://speedtest.net/
