In addition, what features are best about the product you're recommending? What shortcomings does it have? What level of programming skill is required to implement the program?

- not trying to be a pain in your butt about your idea. But it sounds like you want to open your own auction site. They wont work It will take so much to get people to trust your service and the people within even more. If people dont trust the people that they deal with they wont even bother with your site. Look at yahoo auction for example there a joke, They only have scammers on that site and people that have been banned from Ebay. Hope this helps
