Free Ebay Auction Listing Software, any suggestions? Anyone use or can recommend software for ebay auctions, free or costs next to nothing. A friend of mine was using Auctiva but was informed that Auctiva is going to be charging for their services. I was going to start making a list of the features offered by them and just find similar free services and software, but if there is already a free alternative I'll just take that. I'd prefer to be able to download the templates so I can modify them offline, rather than a service where the templates are integerated with a hosting or listing service and you can only modify the templates online. Is their any good well known auction sites besides eBay? I would like to switch because I'm fed up with eBay. eBay keeps raising their listing fees and other selling fees. eBay just recently suspended me for selling a DVD Writer, which I think is totally absurd. They said it violated circumvention policy. The policy states that I can not list any hardware or software the enables users to copy copyright material. A DVD Writer by itself does not enable users to copy protected video games, DVD's, or software, you must have special software to do this, I did not list any software like that. I could understand if I was selling something like a DVD duplicator, because this stand alone device allows users to copy protected material without the need of software. If this is true then wouldn't selling a pc with a built in cd/dvd writer also violate this policy. What about PC's. This would also enable users to download copyright contact material, does this mean they should also be banned. I had it with eBay and would like a better auction site. Their are hundreds of cd/dvd writers on eBay, so I can see its not against any policy. I have had it with eBay and want to switch to a better policy.

Is it legal and okay to make a template for an auction listing from my "Microsoft Works Word Perfect" program? I would like to fix up some templates for my auction listings on Onlineauction.com, because, the tools they give you for the cheapest plan does not give you all the options you get on eBay to make templates and I am afraid mine will go unnoticed if I do not come up with something, SO . . . . I made one on my Word Perfect software that came with my PC. I've read their agreement and it is'nt clear enough for ME, so I was wondering if anyone else is doing this or knows of another solution? I Need Help Starting A Major Online Auction Website? I have had plans for the past 6 years to start a major online auction website (as in as major as eBay). Does anyone have a list of things that are required to run such a big website (e.g. security, promotions, headquarters, legal stuff, software, hardware, computer stuff, etc.)? I have looked up stuff and bought a whole bunch of stuff and it did not help. My online auction website will have more catagories, choices, things, and other better stuff than eBay (I have yet to come up with a name for my online auction website as all 45 names that I have come up with have been taken). Also, the price that you would have to pay on my site would be only 35 cents (compared to eBay's 35 cents to place your item on eBay and the 15 cents for additional pictures and more money for more features which is rediculous for people to pay). It should be simular to eBay's with auction and buy it now capabilities. It must also have the ability to let our friends and customers to sell on it also. How did someone hack my e-mail, eBay, and iTunes accounts? During the past month, my e-mail, eBay, and iTunes accounts have all been hacked. The first one was my eBay account, which someone got into and used to list a bunch of iTouch auctions in French. I changed my eBay password and got those cancelled. A few weeks later, I got a spam e-mail (from myself) that had also been sent to everyone in my address book. I changed my Hotmail password, but I still couldn't figure out where the hacking was coming from. A couple days later (tonight), someone used my iTunes account to purchase $100 in gift cards for the e-mail address us.doing@gmail.com (not mine). Again, I changed my iTunes password and took my credit card info off. (Obviously something I should have done a while ago...) All these things are fairly minor, but I want to know how it's happening. I'm not a computer idiot--I run AVG, Ad-Aware, SpyBot, and my university's anti-virus software, and I browse with Firefox. I don't click on phishing links or fall for spoof sites. So how is this person, or people, getting into my accounts? Any ideas? I'd like to figure it out before they find a way into, say, my bank accounts. My theories so far: -I use an unsecured wireless network -I use the same password across websites (but I had 3 different passwords for my e-mail, eBay, and iTunes accounts) -I check my e-mail on other people's computers - maybe they have keyloggers?
