Do ebay auction sniping services sometimes fail? Ok, I'm searching for an auction sniping site to bid on an item that ends while I'm at school and I'm afraid that the automatic sniping might fail, like submitting a bid too late. Please recommend a site that you use or have used to snipe.
Ebay snipe on auction with no bids? Lets say that there is an item that has no bids and it only has seconds to go before it ends can i snipe it in the last moment even if there are no other bids? Thanks.
ebay snipe auction 1 sec? hey guys is auction sniper good to use in 1 second before the transaction finishes or what is a good time to use plz i need help fast guys the 1st 1 to answer (answer good 2 k) ill give u the best thx
ebay auction sniping? I'm looking for a good ebay sniping service. I've tried a few desktop clients but none of them worked, plus I have to leave my PC on 24 hours a day. So I'm thinking about sniping websites that do it all automatically. Trouble is they all seem quite expensive - about a quid per snipe, and that isnt worth it when I'm bidding on things that only cost a few pounds
What is a trustworthy website for automatically sniping eBay auctions? I have heard of a couple of websites that are free to use and will always snipe an auction at the last possible moment for you on eBay if you tell it to, but I am not sure if I can trust any of them. Can anyone confirm with absolute certainty the trustworthiness of any such websites, and if so, what website should I use?
Do you think eBay should ban auction sniping? I'm so tired of it. I'll be bidding on an item and three seconds before it ends, I'm out bid by some jerk who hasn't been bidding previously and waited to snipe it. The items I sell end up going for a lower price because everyone waits until the last minute to snipe it. As a buyer and seller I'm sick of it. What are your opinions on auction sniping?
Question about auction sniping on ebay? Ok, so i was watching a video about auction sniping, and programs. The guy talked about manual auction sniping and program auction sniping, and have a question about each. With manual auction sniping, When you are at the last seconds and lets say the highest bid is 40 dollars, and you are going to snipe it for 60 dollars. In the video, the person entered in 60 dollars, and won the auction for 41 dollars. Does that mean that you can bid for more and ebay will automatically put your value for less if nobody matches it? And with program sniping, what is the best and safest program to use? Ive heard of Snipe to win and BayGenie
Starting to get nervous. Ebay Auction for $2000 Watch only at 20$ With 6 hours left??? Should I cancel ? I've got a very symbolic item that I have placed on Ebay. It's a Jorg Gray 6500 Secret service Edition Chronograph watch. There was only 400 made. It's the same watch President Obama sports, with the secret service logo on the black dial. Well, I'm starting to get very nervous... There were 120 Views, 10 Waters and 9 bids, and it's at 20$??? The auction end's in around 5 hours. This is driving me crazy because my Gut is telling me something is wrong. I feel like canceling this thing because I do not want to chance it. I don't care if Ebay or the Customer gives me a negative feedback. Last months I put an old Citizen Watch online, and the bids were more active than this. This watch should be sitting at about 30% Value by this point. I know a lot of people on Ebay SNIPE, but this is scaring me... 20$?? That's a huge loss.
eBay "Auction Sniping"? Does anybody know of a way to prevent unknown other bidders from submitting "auction sniping" bids at the last couple seconds? Can something be done with bidding you place to prevent this?
How do I win an Ebay auction? Its our first ebay transaction and someone bid against us, so now it is a litlle by little outbidding war, but I know there has got to be an easier way. How can we win the auction by placing our bid at the last second? Do sellers make up alternative identities to bid on their own stuff to get more money? I've heard of sniping, does it really work?
What are some tips for eBay auction snipers? Like, what's a safe amount of time to leave before the snipe and what's a good one to use? Thanks. There's an item that pretty much means more to me than the world. Does my computer need to be on? I live in Australia, so my net's not that fast, but I do have broadband.
Is eBay Auction Auto Bidder sniping software good? Hi all, I need some help to determine whether this software is good. Please write your experience and/or comments about this product. Thank you and best answer will be chosen The product is sold on this website: http://auctionautobidder.com/?rid=wii_dslite_1993
Why are 0 feedback new ebay users auction chasing & sniping my gold jewelry listings, then no payment? I haven't had this go on with $2 magazines nor $30 jeans. Am currently having an issue with a non-payment on a gold ring and another suspicious incident with a gold+diamonds listing that hasn't ended yet. A bidder with strikingly similar ID to the non-payer, no feedback, brand new account, just tried to drive my price up around 100% but I canceled them out. Can they still bid since I did that? I don't quite understand what is going on here. What can I do to prevent ebay 0 feedback scammers, why are they doing this, what's the purpose... are they stealth accounts that other sellers make to ruin my listings in favor of theirs, take away my sales or steal my information?!
Winning an Auction on Ebay? Hi everyone! I'm a fairly new user to the world of eBay. For the most part of my life, I've only purchased from buy it now retailers like Amazon. Today, when I got bored, I checked on eBay. I've been looking recently into buying an Xbox360 Elite (120gb). This is my first day using eBay, but I'm already fully recognized to the method of Snipe Bidding on eBay. Here is my overview of the product and situation (You'll need to read it to understand my question) 1) This auction is for an Xbox 360 (120gb Elite). 2) There is approximately 23 hours remaining in the auction. 3) About 45 minutes into the auction, a bidder (checking his records, he is a fairly experience bidder, but from what I can tell he is NOT a fellow snipe bidder because he placed his bid at an early stage in the auction) placed $.99 on the item. 4) After going grocery shopping for 2 hours, I found that a second bidder (checking his records, he is a very NEW bidder, less than 30 days,) placed a bid of $10.25. From this, I can tell he has no clue whatsoever about snipe bidding, because he is already driving the price up. 5) I'm not in anyway worried about winning the auction ( as the only snipe bidder there, I'm confident I'll win). However, I have questions regarding the payment process as this is my first time using eBay. **************************************… 6) Once it nears the end of the auction, I expect the price of this item to be around $150. I am willing to pay $190 for it, so this is what I will set my snipe bid too (I'm doing manual snipe bidding). I'm wondering about these questions -Since the price of the item will be around $150 at the end of the bid, and I placed a maximum bid of $190 on the item, will I pay $155 (or something around there) if I win the auction, or will I have to pay my maximum bid? -Secondly, I have a paypal account, but it only has $45 in it. The bank account I used to start this paypal with only has $.11 in it. This seller accepts credit cards through paypal (which is how I wish to pay). I'm wondering. How can I set up my paypal so that when I make the purchase, I will pay for the item with all of my paypal value, and put the rest to charge on my card. ( I don't want it to take the remainder of my balance to my bank account because of overdraft fees.) Thanks for answering my very long question. Best Answer gets 5 Stars and 10 points!
How to eBay snipe? So I set an online program to snipe for me 5 seconds before the auction ends. Does that mean I leave it alone and let it do all the work? Or should I watch my item's page and place a bid and use the snipe program as a back up? will i just be competing with myself? Thanks.
Did eBay Auctions used to AutoExtend? I was having a conversation today about sniping on eBay and I mentioned that back in the early days of eBay if someone placed a bid in the last few minutes of the auction, eBay would add three minutes to the auction so the other bidders had time to react. My friend said that I was nuts and that eBay auctions have always ended at exactly their ending time. I would have sworn I was right...Am I nuts?

Bidding on eBay, auction ends tonight.......? Last week I placed my bid on an 12-year-old (but famous) game in "Like New" condition and the images are real, not stock photos (I'm not revealing which one it is, until after I choose the correct answer). The auction ends tonight and I am the only one who has placed a bid ($14.99, it started at $9.99). This is my very first auction, so I don't know if I made a mistake. Then I read some "horror" stories from people bidding and getting outbid on the last 10 seconds of the auction. I wanted to buy the game since 2004, but couldn't because I moved and they don't sell the game any more, so I chose eBay. I really want the game and if I buy it new from eBay, I'll need to spend at least 40 dollars (four times the original auction price of $9.99). So how I do prevent being outbid on the last hour/minute/second? I'm going to be watching the time of the auction endings and eBay will email me if I get outbid, but how do I make sure I win? (I'm skeptical towards those "Sniping" programs) This is my plan: I'll open 2 windows of the page with the countdown (Bid history). One of them will be for refreshing until the end of the auction. The other window is to counter the "snipers" and quickly place a bid slightly higher than them (maybe one cent higher, I'm not sure, yet). My internet is not lighting fast, that's why I have two windows open. Is this a good idea???
Question about snipe bidding on ebay? There is an item on eBay that I am extremely interested in, however, I already bid on it Saturday night and since then, I have remained the high bidder. Just last night, I read up on snipe bidding and I was annoyed with myself because in order for snipe bidding to work, you must make your first and last bid a few seconds before the auction ends and if you're lucky, you will have knocked the high bidder down and you win the item. My issue is that I am currently the high bidder and will still probably be until tomorrow night when the auction for the item is nearly over and I know someone is waiting to snipe me at the last minute b/c this item had 22 bids and since I bid Saturday, everyone else has stopped, so I know they're waiting. My question is, can I increase my max bid (if I'm still the high bidder a few seconds into the ending time) 6 or 7 seconds before end time and have it be as effective as a regular sniping method, where I must not be the high bidder and bid in the last few seconds to win against the high bidder? Right now, my current bid is at $680, with my max bid at $690 and I'm the high bidder. If I still am in the lead within seconds of the closing time, I intend to increase my max bid to $1,000 about 6 seconds before end; that is as much as I can afford and put out. Would this be a bad move? Would I have to Make another ebay account to snipe myself lol last minute if increasing my max bid last second is a bad idea? Sorry for the long story, I am very new to eBay. Any tips and advice would be much appreciated.
Ebay or Paypal problem? Im using a program to snipe auctions on ebay and I won a auction but then I noticed I did not win. I got an error message from my program called Bid-O-Matic that says: This seller has set buyer requirements for this item and only sells to buyers who meet those requirements. "You are unable to bid on or buy this item because: You either don't have a PayPal account or your PayPal account is not linked to your eBay account. We encourage you to register with PayPal - it is the fast, easy and safe way to pay. Register with PayPal | Already have a PayPal account?" However I do hav a paypal account and it is linked to my ebay account as far as I know. Im sure I am paypal confirmed.
[ebay] can you snipe a bid even though someone have a high maximum bid? Like for example, an item's starting price is $2. John really wants to buy it so he place a maximum bid of $5, but since no one has bid on the item the current bid is at the starting bid of $2. Tom then comes and want to snipe the item at $2.50 in the last second. But is it possible for Tom to win the auction if he bids like 0.000000000001 second before the auction ends and have his bid accepted? or does the second he bid, the ebay auto bid will also bid, so John ends up winning the item at the next bid increment after Tom. To simplify, is it possible to snipe an item at the last second, even though someone has already placed a high maximum bid, can you 'beat' the ebay auto bidder? Thanks !
How to win an auction on eBay? Okay! so there's this thing on ebay that im wanting soooo bad and if i lose it i just might die.so i need advice and help,Also i have some questions. okay so i know about sniping i have EZ-sniper is that a good system will that snipe my item last minute automatically, as it claims? also if i increase my max bid like some people on youtube do; like open 2 tabs and increase the bid then go back on the other tab and then click comfirm bid. Does that work? or should i just wait till the last 10 seconds and bid? Okay one more thing; right now the bid is currently: 60.00$ and ends in 1day and 22hours and the bidders are like really good bidders what should i do?! how much money should i bid on it to make sure they DONT outbid me (not like a whole lot of money!)and exactly what time should i bid on it? (a fast time like ten secs not too fast or too slow) please put SERIOUS comments, and please no negative comments please answer this question ASAP!! and please give me some advice, like how do YOU win your auctions on ebay? Thanks in advance! ;) the bid is currently: 60.00$ and ends in 1day and 22hours and the bidders are like really good bidders what should i do?! how much money should i bid on it to make sure they DONT outbid me WELL HOW MUCH MONEY SHOULD I BID ON IT THEN? im thinking of bidding 65.00 $ on it is that good..??
Is snipe bidding illegal on Ebay? I just bought a car for $2,550 that the guy forgot to put reserve on, he is going to still sell it to me anyways (it was probally worth $3500) Anyways is snipe bidding illegal, or against ebay policy (i was not using a program rather watching the auction for a while and placing a bid at the last minute) Snipe bidding is when a person or a program places a bid on the item at the last seconds or minutes of an auction. Outbidding the other bidders. Shill bidding i believe is when your friend drives up the price of an item.
Ebay Sniping? If i log off of my computer ( turn it off ) will my auction sniping program keep running? I cant sleep with the computer on it is hella noisy.
Why do people "snipe" on Ebay? Why don't they just figure out the max they're willing to pay, bid that, and be done with it. Do they not understand that Ebay's proxy bidding is designed so they don't HAVE to nervously watch the auction? getting the lowest price possible doesn't explain it. If I want the lowest price possible, and I can decide what the highest price I'm willing to pay is, I can bid that price and either I won't win or I'll get it for what turned out to be the lowest price possible.
I have a question about Ebay sniping? ok im new to this so if u can help that would be great. Im planning on snipe bidding on an item that is currently at $26 dollars. The auction ends in and hour and a half. Should I snipe it for 28.99? is that to high or to low? Its a popular item Thanks
Ebay Sniping Help Please? So I get how ebay sniping works, but what if more than one person in a given auction uses a sniping system? What if one uses more than one?
eBay Maximum bidding and Sniping question? if i'm the only bidder in an eBay auction and i have a high maximum bid but someone comes in at the last few seconds and places a bid that's higher than my starting bid but lower than my maximum bid, will i still win due to auto bidding or will i lose?
What is a good bid sniping program for Ebay? I've seen some of these on the internet and most want your ebay id and password and I don't know which ones are any good or which ones are safe. I used to use Auction Sentry but I haven't used that one in a while. I guess I'm trying to find a good product or service, but I don't know which ones are good or which ones re reliable. Also I would like to find one for other auction services also.
ebay snipes???? (10 easy points!!!!)? is it impossible for a normal person not using a sniping program for ebay to win an auction? or is it still the same ammount of fairness? how do i beat a person using snipes?? how come when i bid on my item it says its already been outbid! "try again" and i bid again and it repeats it again... "im sorry uve been outbidded" "bid higher?" someone please help me. i MUST win this item!!!
What is sniping? Should I use it? I've read that with this system that you can download on your computer, you are more likely to win auctions on-line (ebay) and it's useful for when you are not able to be present at the end of auctions. My question is, is it legal to use it? Is it safe to download it? Can you advise a reliable source? many thanks to all
NASCAR FANS, I NEED YOUR HELP! Can you tell me if this car is worth the buy it now price? Serious answers only! I am thinking about buyuing this Dale Earnhardt Jr car for my husband. He is a huge fan and I do not think he owns this one. According to the listing this is 1 0f 600 and the BUY IT NOW price is $49.99 with an insured Shipping charge of $11.00. I could wait until the auction starts and maybe get it for less, but it might be sniped before I can place my final bid. IS it worth the buy it now price or should I chance it? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=110267848376&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=001
A Free Ebay Sniper? I want something that I saw REALLY badly. So I'm looking for A Good Ebay Sniper thats Free....I want one that snipes in like the last 5 or 10 SECONDS BEFORE THE AUCTION ENDS!!! Please HELP!!! Thanks
Ebay???!!! *Ebay Users only***? I have bidded on the same game 2 or 3 times to ensure I get it because I've been caught out by snipers before and now the auction only has an hour to go and no one has bidded on any of them now I'm genna have about 3 copies. Anyway should I wait for the ones I've bidded and risk them being sniped or should I wait until the near end and see If I'm outbid then try anouther auction or try to forget about it and risk all of the games. Thanks ~LickingRabbit
Looking for an ignition 3.0 dance pad in calgary? Hi I've been looking for an ignition 3.0 dance pad for a really long time now. I've checked EB games and they never have it in stock. I don't want to order the mat from the official Redoctane website because it would cost my 130$. Because its 79.99, plus around 50% shipping. So, I was wondering if anybody can tell me if theres any place in calgary that sells ignition 3.0's, or if anybody is willing to sell me one at a reasonable price. I've also checked Ebay, and theres never a Buy It Now that ships to canada. And, I can't really auction "snipe". Well, thanks. Anything is much appreciated.
Help.. using auction sniper? I try to use the www.auctionsniper.com to use it on something I really really want (and if I lose again this time, I might me be really emo for the next first week :'( ) but then, I am still unsure about it.. I won't of course buy that thing if I bid on ridiculous high amount. now, did you have any bad experiences with it? also,.. do i have to sign in my sniping account and/or ebay account for them to work?? the item's auction end is tomorrow 4pm but i will be gone starting 11am.. shoud i just leave the computer online?? stupid stuff to ask but help i know.. it sucks to be newbie actually. never mind the last Question hehe
Why do ebayers bid on items days before it ends? Ebay auctions are about bids but don't bidders have more of a chance to win if they wait till the end or maybe even sniping at the last second? Is there a strategy Im not seeing here with this method by letting their interest been known early on?
On ebay, why do people bid on auctions so early? Do they expect to win? For example, auctions that start at $0.01 or $0.99 can go up to over $50 because people bid too early and slowly drive up the price. Wouldn't it be smarter to wait until the end and snipe a good deal? If you're going to bid that high, why not go to the store and buy the thing? Seems kind of stupid to me.
Proxy/sniping on ebay? So i just put a bid on a halloween costume and someone put in SIX bids after me, their price rising incrementally by like 50 cents or something until they were 50 cents above me. first off, are they using the proxy feature that allows users to protect against sniping (assuming their highest amount is higher than the sniper)? also, i want to lure them into a false sense of security by not doing the proxy feature that raises the price incrementally above them. during the last few minutes of the auction, i want to use that proxy feature to beat them. does that make sense? will it work? okay here, let me explain this again, during the last few minutes, i want to put in that proxy thing and start raising the price by like 50 cents above them. starting that bidding war later would mean i might get the item at a cheaper price ,right? and i would still win because of the proxy feature automatically bidding higher than them each time right?
How exactly does sniping on Ebay work? Say I decide to "snipe" something. I enter in my maximum bid and choose the 5 second cut off. Does that mean that my sniper software will automatically outbid the other person 5 seconds before the auction ends up to the amount of my maximum bid? Or will it automatically start bidding and then keep bidding (if I am out bid) until 5 seconds before the auction ends? Can someone explain exactly how this works? If an item I'm bidding on is currently 10 dollars but I put my bid in at 40 dollars, is the sniping software going to bid 40 dollars 10 seconds before the auction ends, or is it going to continue to bid UP TO 40 dollars before the auction ends?
Do you use Ebay any more? Business Week has an article about ebay. It says the company is going to have to change to fixed price sellers People are annoyed with sniping and it says this causes inefficiency in the auction market. I used ebay twice and was annoyed both times with the process. Do you still use ebay and will you continue?
How do you bid on eBay? Do you put your maximum bid in and leave, or do you watch the auction and only bid in the last minutes? Me, I like to snipe :-) Gets your heart moving too!
Where is a good place to buy vintage cameras, other than ebay? So I have just gotten fed up with ebay snipers outbidding me at the last second. I refuse to use the sniping program because it is unfair. I love old cameras and love collecting them, not so much for the dollar value but because I enjoy looking at them and using them. I live on an island where there really aren't any antique stores or thrift stores. I often browse Shopgoodwill.com and Keh.com. Where else online can I find a place that sells or auctions vintage cameras?
What is the best Ebay auto bidder? I would like for it to be free but it is not necessary. Please help i need to be able to snipe a bid as i will not be around for the end of the auction to do it myself. Thank you very much in advanced for all your help.
Auction Sniping? Okay, on ebay when you have a sniper program set up, say i have it set for 5 seconds...does the sniper program know they have a maximum bid? Is 5 seconds ( for the snipe set up ) too short a time for it to consecutively bid it for me until i have outbid them. thanks alot well iguess what i mean is, because they have a max bid and the program doesnt know what it is, that means it will have to auto-bid for me until it overrides theirs, i dont know how fast these programs are...but would 5 seconds be enough time?
Can somone sue me over a not paid item on ebay? I recently bid on an auction, and wanted to try out an ebay sniping program called JBidwatcher. I entered how much I wanted to bid, and selected the right auction, and then in the last 10 seconds it bid for me, and I won the item. Unfortunately, the program bid way more than I had entered! I explained to the seller that the software had glitched or something, and he threatened to sue me! I realize it is an inconvenience, but there is an option to offer the item to the second highest bidder for their maximum bid. I don't know why he isn't willing to do this. Would he have a chance in court over an issue like this?
ebay sniping questions? is it possible for me to manually snipe at the last 10 seconds of an auction and set my sniping program to automatically bid at the last 5 seconds. or will it cause an error?
Driving up your ebay auctions? I was wondering if this has already been thought of or not and if it is allowed. When you sell a high demand item on ebay, isnt it possible to create a second account and then when people place their max bids, you increase the second accounts bid on the item a dollar at a time until you hit their max and then wait for someone else to bid over that, thus preventing your item for selling for way too cheap but still starting the auction cheap so that people gain interest early on? I know some people get a little rediculous during last second snipe wars and often bid way higher than its worth and if you accidentally win it you can just pay yourself and you only lose the dollar or so that it costs to put the auction up. sorry if this is hard to understand.
